Code of Ethics
According to the REALTOR Code of Ethics, cooperating brokers must also confirm the terms of compensation before accepting an offer of cooperation.
Cooperating Brokers need to confirm the offer of cooperation in writing with the listing agent on an approved Missouri REALTORS form or in writing in order to receive this offering.
Discrepancy of Information
The buyer and seller have the right and option to modify any offer of compensation by way of an offer or executed contract. In the event, there is a discrepancy between what is agreed upon by the buyer and seller and any information obtained on this site, the written terms between the buyer and seller shall dictate the terms of any paid compensation.
Negotiable and Variable
BROKER COMPENSATION, COOPERATION AND SHARED COMPENSATION. Note: The amount or rate of broker compensation (including shared compensation) is not set by law. Broker compensation includes real estate commissions and all other fees paid to a broker. They are set by each broker individually and may be negotiable.
VARIABLE RATE COMMISSION. Cooperating brokers should be made aware that any and all of the commissions on this site may be variable. The Cooperating broker should inquire with the listing agents in regards to any variable rate commissions a listing agent may have with their seller.
